REPORTS TO: Transitional House Manager
SALARY: Per Budget
JOB TYPE: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Variable days and hours.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Provides assists in the oversight and management of the White Buffalo Recovery Transitional House. This facility is an ASAM Level 3.1 Community Transitional Home operated in Arapahoe.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works daily with residents to provide support, encouragement, and guidance.
Assists in coordination of crisis and emergency situations with the clinical staff.
Work in conjunction with other department staff to administer scheduled program curriculum and other activities utilized for treatment and rehabilitation of substance abuse.
Process new clients, i.e., issuance of clothing, assist with food resources, orientation to the rules of facilities and assists clients with daily activities, events and informational literature.
Assist the manager with daily operations of the facility including answering phones, processing time, maintaining adequate food supplies, and chore assignments.
Provide supervision and oversight of substance abuse technicians in absence of the manager, including all employee communication, training, mandatory meetings, and coverage.
Other duties as assigned to maintain/enhance the operation of the WBRC department.


QUALIFICATIONS:

GED/High School Diploma.
Associate degree in Addiction Studies or Human Services field.
Prefer experience is residential setting working with adults with substance abuse issues.
Must have two (2) years of continuous sobriety from drugs and/or alcohol.
Must possess a valid driver license and meet insurance standards and maintain insurability under WRFCHCs insurance program.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check under the Indian Child Protection Act and Family Act (P.L.101-630).
First Aid/AED/CPR within 60 days of hire.
